Our Staff

My name is Kristy Weinert, I am the director and lead preschool teacher here at Little Hands Christian Preschool. We opened the preschool in January 2013 and I have been apart of the preschool since the very start. I have taught preschool since graduating from Northern Michigan University in June of 1995. I enjoy sharing God's love with the children in my classroom. It is a true blessing to be able to teach preschool and watch the children learn and grow everyday.

I have been married to my husband for 24 wonderful years now. We have been blessed with two boys ages 19 and 16 years old. We love camping and spending time outdoors together.

My name is Jordan Bahr and this is my second year teaching at Little Hands Christian Preschool. I was a child care teacher in a 4 and 5 year old classroom for 2 years before joining Little Hands. Ever since I was in 4th grade I have known that I wanted to be a teacher. I struggled through school and I don't want other children to feel the way that I did when I was young. I want to help children grow and learn and I love watching all of the things that they learn.

I have a wonderful husband who I have been married to for 4 years and we have 2 beautiful girls that are 2 and 3 years old. My husband and I bought a house in Waldo 5 years ago. Some of my hobbies include: spending time outside with my family, we love to swim, and we love to ride horses. In my free time when the girls are sleeping I love to cross stitch.

Our preschool is licensed by the state of Wisconsin. We are licensed to care for children ages 3 through 6 years old. We strive to exceed the standards set in place by the state. These standards relate to our staff, program, health and safety procedures, nutrition, ratios, and record keeping. State licensing specialists routinely inspect our program. Our licensing report will be posted in the entrance of our preschool on our parent wall for all families to see. We have a licensing and regulation book on hand for you to review at any time. This regulation book is next to our parent wall. We are licensed for a maximum of sixteen children. Please feel free to ask any member of our staff if you have a question about these licensing regulations.
